The Interim Government has expressed serious concern over recent incidents where women’s football matches in Dinajpur and Joypurhat were interrupted.

These incidents, along with other actions against women’s recreational activities, have raised alarms.

The Chief Advisor’s office shared this information through a statement today.

The statement mentioned that the Interim Government is taking steps to hold those responsible accountable.

The district administrations have already been instructed to ensure that the women’s football matches are restarted.

Recently, several incidents have taken place across the country where women were prevented from participating in various activities for enjoyment.

Notably, two such events in Dinajpur and Joypurhat, where women’s football matches were stopped, have caught public attention.

The Interim Government is committed to ensuring equal rights for both women and men.

The statement also made it clear that anyone involved in violating women’s rights or imposing illegal restrictions would face legal consequences under the country’s laws.

The Chief Advisor’s office emphasized that the government stands firm against any form of discrimination or harassment aimed at any group of citizens.
